The College of Health Sciences (CHS) has won the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST) 75th Anniversary Inter-College Quiz Competition after defeating teams from the University's six colleges in a closely contested intellectual challenge.

The KNUST Alumni community is celebrating one of its distinguished alumni, Prof. Kingsley Badu, whose pioneering research is harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionise mosquito surveillance and strengthen disease prevention efforts in Ghana and beyond.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Alumni community is celebrating one of its distinguished alumnae, Prof. Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson, Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, following her receipt of the maiden Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) Meritorious Award in recognition of her exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions to higher education in Ghana.

A distinguished alumnus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Bismarck Dinko, has represented the University at the Second Africa-Europe Clusters of Research Excellence (CoRE) Conference, held at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, contributing to international discussions on strengthening research collaboration in infectious diseases.

Mary Dede Owusu is a proud alumna of KNUST, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies with a minor in English in 2018. During her time at the University, she was a resident of the prestigious Africa Hall and demonstrated exceptional leadership through active service in her department, hall, and faith community.

Prof. Alfred Sarbah Esq. is a distinguished academic leader and proud alumnus of KNUST. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences in 1997, a Master of Arts in Industrial Management in 2001, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2008, all from KNUST.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST) through its Advancement and Alumni Relations Office (AARO), has begun a series of courtesy visits to distinguished alumni as part of activities marking the University's 75th Anniversary.

Distinguished KNUST alumna and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson, has been honoured by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) in recognition of her exceptional leadership and outstanding contributions to pharmacy education and the advancement of the pharmacy profession in Ghana.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST), has launched its 75th anniversary celebrations under the theme, “From Excellence to Eminence: 75 Years of KNUST,” marking a major milestone in the University's history as a leading institution for higher education, research, innovation and national development.

Arc. Prof. Daniel Yaw Addai Duah is a distinguished academic and alumnus of KNUST. He obtained his BSc. in Architecture in the year 2000 and Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture also in 2002 from KNUST. He was a resident of Unity Hall (Continental), where he demonstrated exemplary leadership as the Hall President in 2000.
