Oluwatosin Ajibade, known by his stage name Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur born on 19 July 1991. He is credited with pioneering Banku music, a fusion of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian musical elements. Mr Eazi relocated to Kumasi, Ghana, in 2008 to pursue a mechanical engineering degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he began booking artists for campus parties through his promotion company, Swagger Entertainment. His interest in music grew after recording a guest verse on the track "My Life," which became popular at KNUST. His debut mixtape About to Blow was released in 2013, and he gained international attention with the single "Skin Tight" featuring Efya. His second mixtape, Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos, released in 2017, further expanded his reach, debuting at number 4 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

Mr Eazi's music blends Afrobeats with influences from highlife, dancehall, and hip-hop. His sound is characterised by laid-back vocals delivered in Ghanaian Pidgin, which he developed during his time at KNUST. In addition to his music career, Mr Eazi is a successful entrepreneur, having launched several ventures, including the emPawa Africa initiative to support emerging African artists. He has also worked with renowned producers and artists like Burna Boy, Sarkodie, and Wizkid. Known for his unique sound, Mr Eazi continues to push the boundaries of African music on the global stage.
