Luther King Kwame Adinkrah, affectionately known as Kwame Adinkrah or Apotiti Mati, is a distinguished Ghanaian broadcast journalist, singer, philanthropist, and public speaker. A proud alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, he earned both a Master of Philosophy in Communication Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, laying the foundation for his dynamic career.
Kwame’s journey in media began as the host of the morning show at Angel FM, later moving to Abusua FM before taking on his current role as the Morning Show Host and Business Manager at Pure FM in Kumasi. Beyond the radio waves, he has shared his expertise as a prominent judge on television reality programs like TV3 Mentor, Ghana’s Most Beautiful, and the maiden edition of Coca-Cola Hit Single. His leadership was also evident when he chaired the entertainment committee for the Kumasi Venue Organizing Committee during CAN 2008.
Deeply rooted in Ghanaian tradition and culture, Kwame remains actively involved in community and cultural initiatives. Notably, he serves on the planning committee established by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to develop the Otumfuo Charity Foundation Teachers Award, a testament to his commitment to education and philanthropy.
Recognized for his excellence in broadcasting, Kwame was honored as the Best Morning Show Host at the 2015 Radio and Television Personality Awards (RTP). His multifaceted career and unwavering dedication continue to inspire and elevate the legacy of KNUST.
