Ameyaw Debrah graduated from KNUST with a B.A. in Publishing Studies, earning the distinction of Best Publishing Student in 2005. He began his journey into journalism as editor of his school magazine at Adisadel College in 1999.

He launched his career through National Service at Ovation International Magazine, writing entertainment content for a global audience. In 2007, he contributed to several pan-African platforms including Jamati.com and Orijinent.com before joining GhanaWeb.com as entertainment editor in 2008. That same year, he founded AmeyawDebrah.com, now one of Africa’s most influential celebrity and lifestyle blogs.

By 2012, he authored full-time, expanding into multimedia with Ameyaw TV, talent hunts, and social campaigns like “My Ghana.” His influence helped launch platforms like Pulse Ghana (2014) and YEN.com.gh (2015) through roles at Ringier Ghana and Genesis Technology. He also served as Country Manager for YEN.com so Ghana.

Ameyaw has received multiple honours for his pioneering work in online media, including:

                •             Best Showbiz Blog at Ghana Social Media Awards (2012)

                •             Best Blogger (City People Entertainment Awards, 2013)

                •             Young Professional of the Year (Waves International, 2013)

                •             Blogger of the Year & Media Personality awards (2015–2019)

Today, he’s recognized as a trailblazing content creator and entrepreneur, working with partners like GhanaWeb, EbonyLife TV, and hosting digital shows that span culture, entertainment, and development.
