Dr. Gloria M. Ankar-Brewoo is a Food Scientist by profession and a Senior Lecturer at the Food Science Department of KNUST with 18 years of Academia experience.
Gloria has lectured over 2000 students on courses like Food Packaging and Shelf Life, Food Additives, Food Quality Assurance, Food Service and Sanitation, Food Microbiology and Emerging Food Borne Pathogens.
Gloria is one of the main resource persons in short courses like HACCP training and Food Safety Training offered by Food Science Department to Food Industries and other SMEβs. Her research area focuses mainly on Food Safety in both chemical and microbiological safety.
Gloria is currently the branch treasurer of KNUST Alumni Association, Campus Chapter and a Fellow of Independence Hall.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry; Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Food Science and Technology, all from KNUST.
