The Alumni Association of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (the Technokrats), has changed the lives of two students. The students were given scholarships at KNUST for a period of four years. The scholarship covered their tuition for the period. As a result the students have been able to complete their first degree programmes and are currently having their national service.

The two students: Miss Dinah Mawuenya Akogo and Master Odopleh Patrick Baah, in appreciation, presented a citation to the association at the 1st quarter general meeting of the National Council of the Association held on 1st March, 2014 at KNUST.

Receiving the citation on behalf of the association, the national president, Mr. Tony Danklu, expressed his delight at the success of the initiative taken by the Association. He mentioned that this was a pilot project. He also intimated that more of such initiatives would be taken by the Association in the subsequent years. Mr. Collins Obeng Manu, the National Vice-president of the Association, urged the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of the association and also support other needy members.
