According to the Global Alumni President, Dr. Kwaku Agbesi, the Association has over the years granted scholarships to two students every four years due to limited resources. “However, this year, the Association has increased the beneficiary slots to enrol three needy students to be supported by the scholarship scheme.”

Dr. Abgesi further expressed the desire of the Association to increase the beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme in the coming years. “Our target is to be able to support at least twenty (20) students every academic year. So that we can be more impactful and support the excellent work of our Vice-Chancellor,” he said.

"I want to on behalf of my colleagues, extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Global Alumni Association for your thoughtful gesture. This was not what we anticipated.
