A Foundation Built at KNUST

Ezekiel’s journey began at KNUST, where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering. It was here that his curiosity for science and engineering took shape, supported by an environment that continues to produce globally competitive graduates. His time at the University laid the intellectual and personal foundation that would later propel him onto the international stage.

Excellence Without Compromise

Throughout his academic journey, Ezekiel distinguished himself with remarkable consistency and drive. He graduated with two First Honors distinctions, earned two Best Doctoral Student awards, and achieved an outstanding cumulative average of 98.9%.

His contributions to research are equally impressive. With 18 peer-reviewed publications, over 130 citations, and multiple research grants, his work reflects both depth and relevance. Beyond the laboratory, he has actively engaged the global academic community through international conferences and professional affiliations.

Engineering Solutions for Real-World Impact

Ezekiel’s research sits at the intersection of engineering, data, and healthcare. His doctoral work focused on biomedical sensors, wearable health technologies, biomaterials, and computational tools, combining advanced techniques such as molecular modeling, IoT systems, and machine learning. For him, the goal has always been clear: to translate cutting-edge research into practical solutions.

“This milestone is not just personal; it’s about expanding what young Ghanaians believe is possible. I want advanced biomedical research to translate into real health and technology solutions for Ghana.”

His work is driven by a vision to strengthen health-tech innovation, not only globally but particularly across Africa, where such advancements can have transformative impact.
