The Department of Food Science and Technology of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in partnership with the Cocoa Processing Company Ltd is organizing a five-day pratical course on Handmade/Artisanal Chocolate Making.

Date: Monday 19th to Friday 23rd June 2017

Time: 9:00am to 2:00 pm

Venue: KNUST Food Science Lab

Course contents:

  1. Cocoa Processing Technology
  2. Chocolate Manufacturing
  3. Quality & Health Importance of Cocoa & Chocolate
  4. Tempering and Moulding
  5. Making Filled Chocolates and Truffles
  6. Packaging, Marketing & Entrepreneurial Opportunities

Fees: GHc 800

The fees include tuition, training materials/ingredients and certification.

Applicants are expected to make full payment or a deposit of at least GHS 400 upon registration. The GHS 400 deposit is non-refundable if applicant did not turn up.
